Ok, don't confuse this Angel Lebron, conguero, with the Lebron Brothers bassist. That said, get ready to dance to some of the best renditions of classic salsa you've heard in a while. This is the nitty-gritty, high voltage renditions of material by Tito Rodriguez, Tito Puente, Tite Curet, Tony Pabon and Manny Rodriguez. Each track a hand picked danceclub gem: tasty morsels of salsa history. Listen to the vibes-based Puente track "Picadillo." It's all pure dance bliss. Some other tracks? Lebron, a Nuyorican, grew up in Da Bronx. His grandfather, Antonio "El Mosquito" Camacho, sang with Davilita and Machito, so there's some genetic history there. According to Lebron,"we play the best in NYC Classic Street Latin/Salsa Music in the West Coast, this is the music that was either heard nationally or never left the East Coast.
